Mogwai

Great classic instrumental post-rock from my youth - not that I ever really got into them.... some great gear tho.  Nerd up - here we go........

At first I hoped the main outs of the desk were running through this baby....think it was just an insert but any engineer using a MoogerFooger FreqBox in their FoH setup is okay in my book.

Got a lotta love for Midas consoles.  Easy to use, capable, built to last.  One day I'll be able to use every knob.....

Great lights/visuals on this show - ChamSys MagicQ with an extra wing - Hippotizer GrassHopper for visuals going up on a massive front-project widescreen.

Mogwai's stage plot...

Guitar pedals of the band 'The Twilight Sad'.  Some notable beauties - two ProCo RAT distortions, two Boss DD-20 GigaDelays, and a Boss RE-20 Space Echo (personal favourite of mine).

Two amazing synths - if I'm correct we have a Dave Smith Poly Evolver on top of a classic 1982 Roland JUNO-60.  This thing's so old it doesn't even have MIDI (CV? Unsure...).  Just beautiful.

One of Mogwai's pedalboards alongside two master keyboards.  Can only make out a few pedals on the board - A Boss TU-2 tuner and what looks like a Boss DD-5 Delay, then something that resembles an EHX Stereo MemoryMan with Hazarai - jewtastic (not racist...).  What you can't quite make out in the dark of this photo is a rackmount Muse Receptor (unsure of which model - presumably a 2+....).  Would loooove to own one of these.

Lovely kits here; also have always wanted to own an Orange head - and now also want to own a custom green Orange cab too....
